- Did everyday activities that his character would've done (hunting, knife sharpening, stayed awake)

- Need to know what happens at every-time in the play
- What does the world feel like? Look like?
- Listening to everybody's idea. Other ideas may manifest from them.
- Find images, phrases, quotes
- Have an over looming phrase or idea
- Metaphors and images instead of taking things literally (door, water, etc.) Meanings and layers of the story must be understood.
- Read and reread with different purposes
